My post (I also have a follow-up) about VideoGamer.com's race "expert", who was consulted to deliver the "verdict" on the racially-charged imagery in Resident Evil 5, was cross-posted over at Racialicious. Racialicious, a blog that discussses race issues and pop culture, is one of my favourite anti-racist blogs, so you can imagine how thrilled I was when they asked me if they could re-publish my blog entry over there. Head over to Racialicious if you'd like to read some great general discussion about my post and about the racial imagery in Resident Evil 5 by a group of people who regularly analyse race in popular media.

Congratulations on both the repost and the initial post. I for one appreciate people keeping ANY companies honest and gaming companies more so. I hate the way they seem to be slipping into the usual corporate formula thinking. Only thier excuse is ‘It’s only a game. It’s not real so we can do waht we want.’
I don’t think I am really in a position to fangirl you, but wow, your RE5 posts have brought out the highest level of squee in me, usually reserved only for Buffy.
Congratulations on the repost and for making a difference, I’m so proud of you!
