Huzzah for Huzzah Goods

I had a World of Warcraft post ready for final edits as soon as I got back from work, however I had a parcel waiting for me at home. The contents were so exciting that I had to blog about it first.

The address label indicated that the package was from Huzzah Goods, a website that sells videogame-themed t-shirts. The package was rather heavier than the one shirt I had ordered nearly a month ago. I received an email from Huzzah stating that the shirt delivery would be delayed, so the late arrival was not unexpected. The email also stated that there would be a special surprise to make up for the delay. When I opened it up, I found not only the shirt I ordered, but two other shirts! Included was the following note:

[Brinstar],

We’re sorry that the delay was so long and we’ll try our best to make certain this kind of thing doesn’t happen again. Please accept these additional shirts as tokens of gratitude for your patience.

Thank you,

Huzzah Goods

So not only do I have this awesome shirt with a diagram of a NES controller:

…but I also have the Miyamoto shirt (khaki) and the Uwe Boll shirt. These people are awesome, and their shirts are cool. They have women-sized shirts, too!

That NES controller diagram shirt is quite possibly the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. I am an absolute sucker for t-shirts, and I can’t believe I haven’t come across these before!

P.S. I’m going to be a Dad tomorrow. My wife is being induced in the morning. Gulp!

Wow, congratulations, Jeff! Do you already know if it will be a girl or a boy, or is it a surprise?

Way to go. I love that shirt and thought about ordering it…this has convinced me to order from them.

It’s a girl (and we knew before the big day came). I’ll post something on my blog soon with more information and some pictures. I just haven’t had much time at the computer since she was born! ;)

Her name is Elliot Harper LeBel…She was born on Sept. 13th, and she weighed 7 lbs., 15 oz. Everyone is doing well so far, though the lack of decent sleep is weighing heavy on us all. I go back to work on Tuesday, and I’m definitely not looking forward to that… :(
