Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Tidbits

Some information on Metroid Prime 3: Corruption:

  • No launch date yet
  • Single player
  • Uses Wii Remote and Nunchuck Controller — Move using Nunchuck, aim using the Wii Remote.
  • Use of Wii-mote includes unnamed game elements that supposedly go beyond traditional FPSs
  • New bounty hunters
  • New ship design
  • Familiar weapons and new weapons
  • Story: Galactic Federation Base Sector Zero is under attack by Space Pirates. Samus is sent to assist the Federation, and finds her old nemesis, Dark Samus, waiting for her. Dark Samus and the Space Pirates have been using Phazon to corrupt planets, and Samus must stop them.

Personally, I’m not fond of the appearance of Samus’s new ship, but maybe I haven’t gotten used to the design yet:

Samus Aran's Ship in MP3: Corruption

I’ll have to finish Metroid Prime 2: Echoes sometime… Collecting Sky Temple Keys got a bit tedious. I think I only have like two or three keys left to find before I enter the final area to face the end bosses.

Oh, and another thing: When will Nintendo continue the story of Samus? All of the Prime games take place in the “past”. What happened after Metroid: Fusion?

List the Metroid games in order from your most-loved to most-despised…

Despised? Metroid? Brinstar? Jeff, I don’t think those words usually accompany each other into sentences.
