Watch the Guild Wars World Championship Playoffs

The Guild Wars Guild Ladder, which shows global guild rankings, has been reset. The 2006 Guild Wars World Championship is underway. Here is the schedule for the Regional Playoffs. You can watch the action by using Observer Mode. Simply go to any town and press “B” to pull up the Observer Mode menu. A list of matches will be displayed. Matches play on a time delay, to prevent cheating. You can also chat to others who are watching the match.

Tip: in Observer Mode, press “o” (by default) to pull up a health/morale graph.

    Cheers.

Oh and it was cool grouping with you the other night. Guildie felt really bad about “dragging” us all that way, having forgotten his Urn for the quest, but he managed to complete it again yesterday. LOL. Thanks for the Monk help, it was much appreciated.

Ok, confession time. If it makes him feel any better, I committed a similar sin. I was running a Boon/Prot build. Right before we headed out the 2nd time, I realised that I didn’t need so much healing so threw in a couple of offense skills.

It wasn’t till about the 3rd fight where I actually needed to heal that I realised I’d accidentally replaced Boon with offense. After we’d already gone back once I couldn’t bring myself to ask to go back to town to fix it.

Oops. That’s why your friend died (which shouldn’t have happened), in case you were wondering. Turns out protection on its own doesn’t work as well… :)

Still, it was fun and it definitely made it more challenging than it would have been. After finally getting to the altar and his sad little urn confession, I must admit I did laugh…

I just sort of groaned inside, but it was pretty funny. He left me a jubilant message on my mobile on Sunday morning: “Guess what?! I got the ashes!!!”
