Acid for Blood

Lately I’ve toyed with the idea of creating a review blog, you know, to review stuff. Or maybe just to have a public space on the interweb, a place that I can point to and say, “Hey, look, I have a website/blog”. I’m not sure whether reviewing stuff will be the ultimate purpose of this space, but we’ll see how it goes. I may just put random self-indulgent crap here, since no one reads this thing anyway.

I like the name I gave it, though. I’m easily amused. It works on a couple of levels:

1. In the Alien series of films, the aliens have acid for blood. I like (many of) those films.

2. I enjoy consuming foods that are sour, such as lemons. Lemons are acidic. If I consume many lemons, does the acidity level in my blood rise? I don’t know. I’m not a doctor. The phrase is still cool, no?

So, nothing to do with drugs.
